Frequently asked

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Mizan. Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple, under Apple's policies.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Mizan's Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.

Does my data transfer to a new phone?

Honest answer: Mizan uses an anonymous account for privacy. Your record restores on the same device after reinstalling, but moving to a new phone does not carry it over automatically today. [UPDATE THIS ANSWER IF ACCOUNT LINKING SHIPS.]

How accurate are prayer times?

They are astronomical calculations from your location, computed on your device. They may differ by a few minutes from your mosque's timetable — follow your local mosque where it matters.

How does the halal scanner decide?

A combination of public databases (Open Food Facts), an ingredient rule engine, and AI reading of photos. It is informational only — a reading, not a certification. See the disclaimers.

Does the AI write Quran verses?

No. Every verse is drawn from a verified corpus bundled in the app — all 6,236 ayahs, Arabic and English. The AI only selects verses and writes the reflections around them.

How do I delete my data?

Two steps, described plainly at How to delete your data.

Is my spiritual record private?

Yes. No ads, no tracking, an anonymous account by design, and your record is readable only by you. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.
